I was meant to feel whatever I did in those moments, to learn the lessons.

To grow.

That was my journey.

Maybe that’s the whole point.

It doesn’t change this huge consuming love we wear like a

second skin.

I look at these photos and even though I remember, parts are fading.

Even now.

And I miss them even though they’re right here.

But I’m loving every bit of them today, and even who they’ll be tomorrow.

It’s not that I want to go back, I just don’t want time to steal the details.

Every little detail.

Not every moment,

Just them, then.
